I was honoured when Niketown London approached me to create designs for their in-store only, 'Nike By You' section.
They wanted designs that represented the LGBTQ+ community and the sub-cultures/communities within that they could have on display and on sale all year round. I chose a geometric art style to represent my community, as it is the perfect way to communicate complexity and diversity.
Nike offered me a platform to share my work and to give my community, the LGBTQ+ community, and our allies a way to show support for one another, to show solidarity and to make sure we are still seen. There is still a lot for us to shout about to establish the equality we need, we deserve, across the world!
